BPME PC Tool Installation Notes - 7/1/2005

IMPORTANT!

You must have the Java 2 Runtime Environment 1.4.2 (JRE) or later installed on your 
PC before running BPME_setup.exe.

Run jre-1_5_0-windows-i586.exe from this media to install J2SE JRE on your computer.

If the J2SE JRE is not included on this media, then you can get the latest version 
from http://www.java.com.

Click the "Begin Download" button to download the application.

Download and install the J2SE JRE before running the BPMEPC installation.

Run BPMEPC_setup.exe to launch the installation of the BPME PC Tools.

BPMEPC_setup will install the following on your PC:
1. BPMEPC.jar - BPME PC Tool v1.1.
2. BPMEHelp.jar - BPME PC Tool JavaHelp executable.
3. BPMEFind.jar - BPME Web Tool setup utility. 
4. JavaHelp 2.0 distributable libraries.
5. JavaComm distributable libraries.
6. BPME Web Tool help files.

After the installation has completed you can run BPMEPC from the Start Menu:
StartMenu->Programs->Bird Technologies->BPME->BPMEPC

If you are installing over a previous version, then the installation will
ask if you want to remove the older version from your system. If you answer "Yes",
then you will need to run BPME_setup.exe again.
